Creating a Domain Name

If your business or personal needs require a domain space (www.yourname.com), this can be arranged through an internet host of your choice.

Online Sales

If you are interested in selling online, creating a catalog of your company's items, I would suggest starting out small, allowing telephone and mail sales, and communication through email. We can design an order form, which can be printed and mailed. As the traffic builds on your site, we can begin to think of creating a secured online sales site, with a searchable catalog, where credit cards can be used safely by the consumer. This will require the purchase of additional software, as each business would be required to obtain a license for the software.

Most sites consist of at least 2 pages. You would ideally like to have the first page be an introduction to your business, attractive and interesting, and loading quickly on the computer of the person finding your site. From that first page, a second more descriptive page can be designed, consisting of pictures, etc. If the person has made it to your second page, then they are already interested in what you are selling, and won't mind waiting for the pictures to load.

Custom graphics can be created for you, which will extend the time necessary to build the page. I have loads of very nice graphics and backgrounds on disc that can be incorporated in your pages. It is up to you if you want graphics from discs (royalty free), or custom graphics designed by me.

Digital Photographs can be taken of anything you need for your site. If you have your own photographs, I can scan them for use on the web, or use your own digital photos for your web site.

When your site is completed to your satisfaction, I will provide you with a CD of your entire site, so that if at any time you are unhappy with me or my work, you may move your site to the location of your choice. Hopefully, you will stay with me
